The Old Manatee County Courthouse is in Bradenton, on the west coast in the south central part of the state. It was built around 1859, and is in the Manatee Village Historical Park, which has a number of other historic buildings that have been moved there. Admission to the park is free, so check it out when you’re in the area.
The courthouse should not be confused with the newer Manatee County Courthouse (built in 1913), which is still in use. Both courthouses are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. See more photos of the old courthouse and the historical park here.
