The hint was actually a trick. Mosquito County doesn’t exist anymore. All Saints Episcopal Church is in Enterprise, in the central part of the state. It is near the north shore of Lake Monroe. It was built in 1883, and is one of the oldest original Episcopal mission churches in Central Florida. It is included in “A Guide to Florida’s Historic Architecture” and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. See more photos here.
Oh, Mosquito County. Back in the 1800s, Mosquito County comprised most of Central Florida. Enterprise was the county seat. After becoming a state, it was renamed Orange County. Over the years, it was subdivided into several counties, including Osceola, Seminole, Lake, and Volusia. See a series of historical maps of the area here.
